AWAKEN your

whole self.

Offering a skillful, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship which creates access to clarity, resilience, and compassion.

You may have learned to hide or avoid parts of yourself or aspects of your experience, and that strategy may not be working anymore. Or you may have experienced something that goes beyond your ability to manage.

Together we can honor the strength you already have that has gotten you to where you are, and access deeper and more expansive ways of being and grow your capacity to hold all of what life brings.

REASONS FOR THERAPY

Here are some of the common reasons my clients seek out therapy:

• Feeling out of control
• Difficulty expressing themselves and their truth
• Experiencing shame around an event or relationship issue
• Feeling ‘stuck’ and unclear
• Needing help to process grief, both acute and developmental
• Wanting to create healthy relationships and boundaries
• Experiencing distressing emotions, fear, nightmares, etc.

Clinically, these challenges can be described as: depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma symptoms, personality disorders, bipolar disorder, substance abuse, and family or relationship challenges.

If any of this resonates with your experience, please reach out and we can see how I can be of support. I look forward to hearing from you!

STEPHANIE ADDISS, LPC, LAC

My psychotherapeutic approach begins with relationship as the foundation from which to introduce healing modalities. After establishing a trustworthy partnership, I welcome every aspect of who you are to be seen, acknowledged, and accepted. Together we will recruit your innate wisdom and strength.

My clients know me to be direct, no-nonsense, and to hold them compassionately, but firmly, accountable to the change they are wanting in their lives. Some modalities I employ include Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), the Hakomi method, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT).
